Not Honda, not Toyota and not even Subaru made it onto Ethisphere.com's list of most ethical companies for 2014. As a matter of fact, of the three automotive businesses on the list, two don't even manufacture cars, which means Ford is the only automaker that made the cut.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Ford Motor Company has been named one of the most ethical businesses in the world by Ethisphere Institute, an independent research center dedicated to the advancement of best practices in anticorruption, business ethics, social responsibility and sustainability. Ethisphere's 2014 list of WME honorees includes 144 companies in 41 different industries, and very few can say they've made the list five times.

Ethisphere selects organizations that promote and effectively implement good business practices, exceed legal compliance minimums and make efforts to improve industry standards. They also state that the WME designation is given to "companies that truly go beyond making statements about doing business 'ethically' and translate those words into action."

At Gwinnett Place Ford, we also believe that actions speak volumes, and like our alma mater we strive to stand by our word through our everyday interactions with customers. We're extremely proud to be part of such an esteemed organization and believe this win is not only special for all of Ford's employees, but also for our current vehicle owners and future customers.
