2018 Ford Mustang GT

Although halfway through its automotive life-cycle, the Ford Mustang shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, owing to a host of changes for 2018, it will be quicker than ever and come with more standard features. EcoBoost-powered Mustangs will finally get the line-lock feature that was originally GT-exclusive, while that V8-powered model sees a substantial power bump, and a quiet exhaust feature.

Thanks to the new Active Valve Performance Exhaust, drivers have the option of selecting the Quiet Exhaust mode in the settings of their infotainment system. This lowers the Mustang GT’s trademark roar to 72 decibels—about the same as your average dishwasher. It can also be programmed to be set during certain hours, so not to wake the neighbors. That’s pretty good news, considering the 2018 Mustang GT is more powerful than ever. With 460 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque and available ten-speed automatic and Performance Package with Drag Strip mode, the coupe can hit sixty in under four seconds.

Better yet, it goes on sale this autumn. If you want to make sure to catch its arrival and take it for a test drive, we invite you to contact our Ford dealership in Duluth, GA. We can let you know when it comes in.
