This Mother's Day Weekend, May 10-11, 2014, Barefoot in the Park returns to Duluth Town Green! Every year, the festival highlights the art and culture our city has to offer, while bolstering the business community and offering family-friendly entertainment in a safe and lively atmosphere.

One of the festival's main attractions is a large fine arts market where all kinds of neat products are on sale, or you can visit the Adult Learning Village and create something with your own hands! Whether you're interested in trying calligraphy, stained glass work, painting or pottery for the first time, the Learning Village offers an opportunity to experience something new and fun. There's also a Children's Art Park where kids ages 12 and under can take part in a wide range of art and science-based activities.

Additionally, the festival includes a beer garden, live performances, a juried student art exhibit, concessions and more! Festival dates and hours are Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is conveniently located in downtown Duluth, GA at 3142 Hill Street. Plenty of free parking can be found throughout the area and entry into the festival is free. For more details about the event, please visit Barefoot in the Park's website.
