FUSION S AMENITIES
Another key highpoint of the 2016 Fusion is its plethora of features. The entry-level model, Fusion S, is appointed with a rearview camera, SYNC with voice-recognition technology, iPod/USB inputs and smartphone app integration, just to name a few notable features. Additionally, S trims are now offered with a new Appearance Package, which offers sporty embellishments for those who desire their Fusion with a more athletic look. The Appearance Package features a rear spoiler, fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and sleek body-colored lower front/rear bumpers and rocker molding.
FUSION SE & TITANIUM AMENITIES
SE and Titanium trim levels don’t disappoint when it comes to features either, taking all of the S trim’s standard features and building on the list. Fusion SE models add satellite radio, rear air ducts, heated mirrors, exterior keypad entry and more. Titanium models receive the same features and build on the list further with additions like sport front seats, remote start, keyless entry/ignition and HD radio among other amenities.
POWERTRAINS
Powertrains include a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 175 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque on S and SE trims. Optional on the SE is a turbo 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 181 hp or, if you want more power, there’s also an optional 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 240 horsepower, which is the standard engine on Titanium trims. Models with the 2.0-liter engine are available with all-wheel drive, otherwise front-wheel drive is standard. Six-speed automatic transmissions are paired with all engines; the 2.0-liter’s includes paddle shifters for manual gear changing.
