Over 15,000 people across the nation entered performance examination ideas in Ford's "You Test" promotion and the winners have finally gotten to conduct their tests in real life using the all-new redesigned F-150! To enter, truck owners had to submit the toughest durability challenges they could think of, then Ford selected the top four ideas. The first winner, Brian Schober, has already conducted his test and the video is posted! Coincidentally, Schober happens to be a professional test engineer who ensures that military vehicles are up to snuff, so he knows a thing or two about testing endurance.
Soon, truck shoppers can find the all-new 2015 Ford F-150 in Duluth! It's scheduled to arrive at our dealership this fall.
Schober's commute to work has already ruined 13 vehicles over the past year and a half, and on a daily basis he takes military units out on tough desert courses to ensure they'll stay in shape on the battlefield. Clearly, he knows how to destroy vehicles, but will his test be hard enough to thwart the F-150? When he gets his hands on the truck, which is now 700 pounds lighter and composed of an all-aluminum body, he hits up the 5.4-mile desert track where he works in Yuma, Ariz., and has the truck driven through desert terrain for 36 hours in 105-degree heat. See how the new 2015 F-150 fares when put through this difficult challenge. Click play to watch the video now!
