In Google's 2014 Trends Report, the iPhone 6 took top place in the electronics category, while the late and great Robin Williams was the highest trending search topic of the year and Ebola symptoms were unsurprisingly the most searched for disease warning signs. Along with these topics, Google's 2014 Trends Report wouldn't be complete without mentioning the most searched for automaker, and we're excited to announce that it was Ford!

Ford searches outnumbered those for Tesla, Honda, Toyota, and even exotic brands like Jaguar and Ferrari. There was lots of buzz around the Ford brand this year, especially with the release of two highly anticipated and redesigned models: the next-generation Ford Mustang and all-new aluminum Ford F-150.

To come up with the 2014 Trends Report, Google says it analyzed 1.2 trillion searches from 146 countries. Among all terms included under the automotive category, Ford-related searches were typed in the most, once again affirming the brand’s worldwide popularity! If you want to see some of the most searched for cars on the planet in person, head to Gwinnett Place Ford at Satellite and Commerce today, where you can find the new 2014 and 2015 Mustang, F-150, Fiesta, Fusion, Edge, Explorer and other Ford models!
