If your car has ever been scratched in a parking lot and the person didn't leave a note with their contact info, you were probably livid and understandably so. Unfortunately, this happens all the time, leaving some to think that there aren't many good people left in the world. However, if the person did leave a note, would you pay them for their honesty? That's what Stuart Edge did. The YouTube video prankster was so impressed and appreciative of one girl's honesty that he paid her $200 in cash!
Many idioms came to mind when we first saw this story, including honesty is the best policy and it pays to be a good person. While the latter can't always be taken literally, in this case honesty really did pay off for one girl who left an apologetic note with her phone number on it after hitting a car in a parking lot. Little did she know whose car she had just hit and that it would turn out to be her lucky day. And, of course, Edge couldn't resist turning the incident into an opportunity to play a prank and post it on YouTube for the whole world to see.
Coincidentally, the video went viral and we think it's because this story reinforces the fact that there really are still good people out there! Check out the video above to see how the whole thing went down!
