Alpharetta Art in the Park
Now through September on select dates, locals can head to the outdoor artists market in downtown Alpharetta. You can see art pieces being created right before your eyes and purchase work from local artisans. A variety of mediums are represented, including jewelry, woodwork, pottery, soaps and lotions, clothing and much more.

Masterpiece Mondays at Lanier Islands
Art mixers are being held at Lanier Islands. Guests receive step-by-step instruction from skilled professionals and it doesn’t matter whether you’re a novice or veteran – all art levels are welcome to participate. The materials are provided and you can take your work home with you after the event.

DoVA Annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition
The Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia is presenting its yearly outdoor sculpture exhibit. This time around, the DoVA has expanded the show to all of the school’s campuses. It’s free to drop by and take self-guided tours at any of the locations.
