It’s almost time to say goodbye to 2015 and hello to the New Year! Ring in 2016 with your loved ones, friends and neighbors at the City of Duluth’s annual New Year’s Eve Extravaganza. This exciting family-friendly event will give you the chance to start off 2016 with a bang! Right at midnight there will be a huge fireworks display, plus tons of activities are taking place leading up to the light show.
Starting at 7 p.m. on the evening of Dec. 31, 2015, visitors can come take a ride on the giant snow slide, play giant games, and enjoy local and mobile cuisine from several vendors and food trucks. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will also be on sale at the event. Just a few participating concessionaries include Espresso Theory, The Best of Brews, Angelfire7BBQ and Taste Maine. Live musical performances are scheduled all evening, as well. Along with main act Brothers Osborne, performances will be provided by The Highbeams and the Drake Freeman Band.
