2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty: What’s New?

The 2017 Super Duty has been thoroughly redesigned for the new model year.

Like the Ford F-150, it now includes a military-grade aluminum body, which has helped the truck drop about 350 pounds. This adds to its agility and capability. The new Super Duty can tow more and offers greater engine power, plus it offers more infotainment and safety technologies, including up to seven cameras!

Sync 3 is new to the Super Duty, offering a range of updates including improved natural voice recognition, faster response time, a screen that you can pinch-to-zoom and swipe, and an overall simplified and user-friendly interface. New safety technologies include systems such as Lane Departure Warning and BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow.

The 2017 F-Series Super Duty, which is coming to the Atlanta area later this year, has also been enlarged from all angles. The biggest benefit of this is an increase in cab space.

Full specs for the Super Duty haven’t been released yet, but we do know it will continue to offer the 6.2-liter gas V8 engine and optional 6.7-liter V8 diesel, which has been updated and offers class-leading torque and horsepower.
