The holiday season brings poinsettia wreaths and Christmas trees, festive family gatherings and, most of all, the spirit of giving.
While contributing to the local community is important year round, the holiday season is an especially pertinent time to uplift those who may be a little less fortunate than yourself. That’s why we were recently very privileged to take part in an event that brought holiday cheer to local families in need.
Through a heart-felt promotion with Univision 34 Atlanta, viewers helped select 10 deserving families who received holiday meals at a special dinner on Nov. 15. The event took place at local Cuban restaurant Coco Cabana, and not only included delicious food, but also live entertainment which the families loved.
In addition, presents were provided for the families, including gift certificates from a local Hispanic grocery store, which were donated by Gwinnett Place Ford. Holiday meals are a staple of the season and we hope our gift ensures that all of the families involved have more than enough food to create delicious meals for the rest of the season.
We were honored to contribute to this heartwarming event with our friends at Univision 34 and look forward to taking part next year!
