With authentic Asian cuisine, vibrant performances, a colorful marketplace, interactive workshops and more, JapanFest offers several attractions that educate and entertain.
The two-day festival takes place at Infinite Energy Center on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16-17, 2017, and tickets are available online now.
The performance schedule is packed both days of the event, so there will be endless entertainment. Make stops at the Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola and Aflac Stages to see a variety of performances and speakers, including Jennifer Cihi (“Sailor Moon” voice), Bunraku Bay Puppet Theater, Nebula Dance Theater, the Yoyogi Fashion Show, martial arts demonstrations and much more.
In addition, there will be a Kyudo area with Japanese archery demonstrations as well as an Anime Village Stage, which is a popular location. The Village Stage offers a chance for visitors to get autographs from Jennifer Cihi, watch anime screenings and more.
If you’re interested in workshops, JapanFest Atlanta has several for you to choose. From learning about Japanese puppetry to getting information about traveling in Japan and learning how to make sushi, there’s a plethora of informative and hands-on exhibits.
