Austin Cindric Joins Ford Multimatic Motorsports for Rolex 24 at Daytona

Ford Performance NASCAR Cup driver Austin Cindric has been called upon to join the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team for the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He will replace endurance driver Ben Barker, who broke his collarbone in a skiing accident over the holiday season. Cindric will race with team regulars Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx in the Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3.

This will be Cindric's sixth time competing in the Rolex 24, and he is optimistic about the Mustang GT3's potential to help him achieve a strong performance.

Cindric, a Mooresville, NC native, is a multi-race winner in the NASCAR Cup Series. One of his key recent victories was at the 2022 Daytona 500, where he took the win driving a Team Penske Mustang. Before transitioning to stock car racing, Cindric competed in major sports car racing events throughout the U.S. He's no stranger to Ford development vehicles, having raced the Mustang GT4, and he has made four Michelin Pilot Challenge appearances at Daytona with Multimatic Motorsports, including a 2019 win alongside Priaulx at Road Atlanta.

2025 marks 10 years since Cindric's first race with Multimatic and Ford at Daytona. The team is thrilled to welcome him back, and Cindric is excited to gear up for the January 26th race.
