About Ford Reviews From Gwinnett Place Ford
The 2016 Ford Mustang has officially arrived on the market and this year it comes equipped with upgraded features, new package options and fresh available equipment. With a heritage that stems over 50 years, the pony car continues to build its legacy in the auto world and leave a lasting impression on new car buyers. Each year, Ford engineers discover new ways to improve upon the Mustang's capabilities without stripping it of its American muscle car identity. This year, they have gone above and beyond, creating an all-new track-ready Mustang Shelby GT350 model that can compete with the best of them. To learn about the high-performance model and modifications to the standard Mustang, read our 2016 Ford Mustang review below.
The latest addition to the Mustang lineup for 2016 is the Shelby GT350. Complete with Brembo brakes, a Torsen rear differential and Recaro front seats, the performance-ready model is the perfect track-day vehicle. A 536-horsepower 5.2L V8 engine, delivering 429 lb.-ft. of torque, drives the Shelby GT350 straight past the finish line. For buyers intending on using the Shelby strictly on the track, a Track Package is also available that comes with a large rear spoiler, adaptive suspension dampers and heavy-duty springs, a front suspension tower brace, additional powertrain coolers and adjustable drive settings.
Aside from the Shelby variant, the standard 2016 Ford Mustang in Duluth comes with SYNC 3 technology this year, which replaces the outgoing MyFord Touch system. It's more responsive and intuitive than MyFord Touch, allowing drivers to more easily stay connected while on the go. In addition to this update, all GT models now come with secondary turn signals integrated into the hood vents, while GT coupes and EcoBoost models are available with a black-painted roof. New Black Accent, California Special and Pony packages are also now offered on select models, giving drivers the opportunity to enhance the appearance of the 2016 Ford Mustang in Duluth.
