1. Color of light has a "temperature"
2. Lighting can affect your mood

Artists use the terms "cool colors" and "warm colors" to describe the feeling certain hues evoke. Put a blue filter over a photograph, and suddenly the subjects look chilly. Put an orange filter over that same photograph, and it looks like summertime.
