The new Ford Super Duty lineup packs a bigger punch thanks to chassis upgrades and a second-generation V-8 turbo diesel engine that emphasizes power and efficiency, so you get the most out of every mile. 2015 models will offer class-leading horsepower, torque and towing capacity, further solidifying the brand's leadership in the heavy-duty truck class.
When equipped with Ford's new Power Stroke V-8, owners of the 2015 F-250, F-350 and F-450 in Duluth can expect an incredible 440 horsepower (previously 400 hp) and 860 lb.-ft. of torque (formerly 800 lb.-ft.), both of which are best-in-class numbers. The engine's boost in power is due to enhancements like the addition of a bigger turbocharger, new reverse-flow layout and compacted graphite iron engine block. Additionally, the 2015 F-450 will offer a segment-best 31,200-pound tow rating, 6,500 pounds more than last year, while the F-350 adds 3,300 pounds to its towing capacity.
"Our chassis people have worked in unison with our powertrain people to develop more than a great truck - it's a machine engineered for work," said Ford Truck Group Marketing Manager, Doug Scott. And he's absolutely right. With the Ford Super Duty series, there's no reason to settle for a second-rate work truck. If you're in the market for a heavy-duty hauler, keep an eye out for the 2015 F-250, F-350 and F-450 in Duluth later this year.
