The F-150 Lightning has quickly become a standout among electric pickups by combining rugged capability and efficiency. It rides on the proven Ford F-150 platform, replacing the internal-combustion engine with an electric drivetrain. The newest Lightning adds subtle refinements to its standard content and now includes a mobile charging cord featuring an NACS adapter.
What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?
Five trims make up the 2025 Lightning lineup.
The Pro entry model offers vinyl seats and flooring, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a built-in trailer hitch. It includes satellite radio, a digital instrument display, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V power outlet. The Pro rides on 18-inch wheels, features LED headlights, and supports DC fast charging.
Next is the XLT, which trades vinyl floors for carpet, adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, storage beneath the rear seats, and additional driver-assist technologies.
The Flash trim features 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate/step combination, a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, and keyless entry. It also includes a wireless charger, an eight-speaker B&O audio system, BlueCruise hands-free driving tech, and more safety enhancements.
Lariat brings a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.
The Platinum trim tops the range with 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium audio setup, massaging front seats, luxurious leather trim, a towing package, and Pro Power Onboard offering 9.6 kW.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?
The standard dual-motor setup produces 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. With the extended-range battery, available in the upper trims, output climbs to 580 hp, and range improves.
