What's New For the 2020 Ford Fusion?

For the 2020 model year, the Ford Fusion brings back many of the popular features found on the previous year's model. To simplify the line-up, the V-6 engine has been replaced by a more efficient inline 4-cylinder powertrain. Also, paddle shifters are now exclusively available on upper trim levels.

Dynamic Features in the Forefront for 2020

The 2020 Fusion is available in four trims: S, SE, SEL, and Titanium. The S trim comes standard with an EasyFuel capless fuel filter, LED taillamps, auto high beam headlights, 6-way manual driver's seat, air conditioning, and an AM/FM/CD stereo system. The SE trim comes with many features found on the S trim plus a reverse sensing system, solar tinted glass, a 10-way power driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio, power door locks, and power windows.

The SEL trim comes with many features found on the SE trim plus LED signature lighting, a 10-way power drivers' seat with 2 memory settings, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The top-of-the-line Titanium trim comes with many of the features found on the SEL trim plus power-heated outside side mirrors, leather-trimmed seating, a Sony 12-speaker audio system, and a power sunroof.

Raw Power and Stellar Performance

The 2020 Ford Fusion comes standard with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that offers up to 175 horsepower. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. There is also an optional 1.5 ECOBOOST engine that provides up to 245 horsepower. This engine is also paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Finally, there is a hybrid engine available that provides a combined horsepower rating of 188.

Packed with Safety Features

The 2020 Ford Fusion comes with a number of passive and active safety equipment. Standard on all 2020 Fusion models is a rearview camera, dual-stage front airbags, 1st & 2nd-row curtain airbags, front knee airbags, individual tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability system, SOS post-crash alert, and child safety locks.
