What's New for the 2022 Ford F-150

The all-new Ford F-150 comes packed with various new features and improvements for the 2022 model year. The vehicle boasts an updated exterior design, a more powerful engine option, and a host of new technology features.

The first thing you'll notice about the new F-150 is its refreshed exterior design. The front end has been completely redesigned, with a new grille, headlights, and bumper. Around the back, the taillights have been updated, and the truck now features a more stylish rear bumper.

2022 Ford F-150 Trims & Features

The F-150 is available in six different trim levels for the 2022 model year: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.

Even the base XL model comes equipped with standard features like LED headlights, a rearview camera, automatic high beams, a hill start assist system, etc.

Step up to the XLT trim. You'll get additional features like SYNC 3 infotainment, a Wi-Fi hotspot, remote start, and power-adjustable front seats.

The top-of-the-line Limited trim comes with even more luxury features, such as leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

2022 Ford F-150 Horsepower

The base engine for the new F-150 is a 3.3L V6 that makes 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

You can opt for the 2.7L turbocharged V6 engine for even more power.

This engine produces 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

If you need serious power for towing and hauling, you'll want to opt for one of the available V8 engines. There's a 5.0L V8 that produces 395 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.
