How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Explorer Have?

All trims apart from the ST, King Ranch, Limited, and Platinum are powered by a 300hp 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The ST and King Ranch receive a 400hp twin-turbo 3.0L engine while the Limited and Platinum have a 318.0 Horsepower 3.3L V6 Cylinder Engine. Only two trims have access to the hybrid powertrain: the Limited and Platinum. As for the transmission, A 10-speed automatic is used to power the rear wheels. You'll get AWD on the Timberline as a standard option, but the same is optional on all the other trims.

What Safety Features Does the 2023 Explorer Include?

Ford equips every Explorer with a range of basic driver-assistance features and provides optional features like self-parking assist.
